PIPE INSTALLATION RULES

The rules of PE pipes installation are given in DIN 19630, DIN 4033, AND EN 1610 standards. Pipes can be welded and then put in the canal. It is important to keep canal digging narrow.· Pipes should not be squeezed at any condition.· Pipes which are damaged during transportation or stocking at any cost.· There should be no rain water or underground water. (Pumps should be used for the eviction of water.)· Non-sticky sand, pebble, mixed grainy sand and pebble is appropriate as stuffing material.(DIN 19630 standard· Canal deepness should be 70-80 minimum.· If digging soil is appropriate for stuffing, pipe can be directly put onto the canal ground. If not, canal deepness should be made more and dry stuffing material hould be used.· Bearing thickness should be Al = 100 mm + 1/10 DN minimum. Bearing material should be stuffed with the help of light compactor until %95 strength is achieved.· Pipe side stuffing with the thickness of A2, 30 cm should be stuffed with a light compactor with a rate of % 92  95. · This process should be done with every 30 cm.· After stuffing the pipes, A3 = 30 cm stuffing should be completed using medium powered compactor.
